can't wait to see you "in jumpsuit" (like "in person"....teehee) again. in the meantime me and skittles aka zekebonz aka josh with a soft "j," have been writing, practicing, scheming merch (cheap!) and making synth. recently our workload has included a tiny portion of booking. we look forward to bringing bonz on the road, but we need some help. we ask for no $ because of it's insane value (hehe), but your help. if you like us, let us know. find us on facebook, or grab some free music here. there's silly myspace and of course, keep checking back here until our sick website is breathing. also, we've got our mailing list in the works to give away free stuff. be excited, or at least fake it. we're minerals.

So a couple of weeks ago, Josh's bass drum head busted at practice (not long after he destroyed a snare drum head. Tape can be your friend.) This of course affects our schedule to get you our first EP, "visual AIDS" by the new year......but we will not allow this to stop us. Not only will we figure out a way to get this done, but we will be handing out free copies of "visual AIDS" at our first show on January 22nd at Tommy's in Hammond. Thanks to Allen Lloyd (owner of the Indy) for making these "after hours" shows possible for our local music scene to begin taking steps forward again.

So, this blog has existed awhile and given no clear info of what it is. Why change that now? Now when you're swaying with the trees, you will remember all the beautiful sounds we will lend you. but those sounds are not ready. Therefore, you must anticipate. Mortal Kombat-Bones

If you haven't checked out the recent viral Mortal Kombat video that has been streaming online the past few days, this is the time to do so. The video has apparently been identified as a video directed by Kevin Tancharoen-Bones with the intentions to woo WB with his vision for a MK reboot.

Recent information has implied that hobobones will be making an appearance at this "tournament" this "Shang Tsung" is planning. With that stated, this video exceeded all expectations of ours and if you have yet to do so, now is the time to check it out.
